Camden Haven is located on the Mid North coast of New South Wales, 30 km south of Port Macquarie, only 3 and a half hours north of Sydney.
Providing all year round experience for visitors and residents, Camden Haven is a truly unique place. At the mouth of the Camden Haven river lie the townships of North Haven, Laurieton and Dunbogan, three holiday towns. Moving north along the coast are the beach towns of Bonny Hills and Lake Cathie. While inland, includes the townships of West Haven, Lakewood, Kew, Kendall and Lorne. All the townships provide their own beauty and experiences. From beach to bush, Camden Haven has much to offer.
From most towns you can see the picturesque North Brother Mountain – named by Captain James Cook as one of the three brothers, along with Middle Brother and South Brother. The Aboriginal/indigenous people of the area had already been referring to the mountains as brothers for thousands of years before. Your trip is not complete without a drive to the top of the mountain, only a 5km wind to the top. Once you are there you will be able to visually understand the layout of Camden Haven, with views as far as Port Macquarie to Crowdy Head National Park. With such breathtaking views you must remember to take your camera.
